Runway: 17/35

Runway Length:6000’ x 40’ dirt strip

Runway Elevation: 4107

The airport is located in a wide valley with high mountains to the E and W.

There is moderate terrain to the North.

The airport is located just North of a MOA.  

Special Considerations or Operations

There is a windsock just North of the large hangar complex.

There is a windsock toward the South end of the runway.

Strong, gusty winds are possible.

Monitor 122.9 for traffic and field conditions.

There are several other private airstrips in the area, so be able to ID NM90.

The closest weather reporting is Bisbee Douglas Intl (KDUG)@ 39nm SW.

Caution- Be aware of the following items

Runway 17/35 has numerous small rocks 2” and smaller.

The runway may have only the North 3000’ mowed.

There is a 4’ fence off the approach end of runway 17.

There is a marked powerline off the approach end of runway 35.

Wildlife may be present on and near the runway.

Verizon cell service is normally available at NM90.

Courtesy car available.

Restrooms and showers on site.

Bring tie-downs and camp gear so you can sleep under the stars with your airplane.

Additional Information

Adhere to the RAF Code of Conduct at all times.

Fly out all trash and leave the facilities cleaner than you found it.
